About the Owners

Welcome to Chez Sarrazin!

We are Jeremie and David and moved to France in early 2023 to 'start a new life'. Previously, Jeremie worked in various catering positions in London Including head waiter at the Ivy Restaurant and Catering manager in various corporate businesses in the city of London. David worked in Finance all his life apart for a period of 4 years in early 2000 when we ran a successful cocktail bar on the island of Lefkas in Greece.

Why this location?

We like nothing better than a hot and sunny climate and as Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the second sunniest region in France, we are now in heaven. The area is stunning having the most beautiful rolling country-side, historic towns, villages, chateaux and outstanding food and drink. This is truly the centre of the wine, cognac and pineau world - yum! Chez Sarrazin offers us a beautiful rural setting with fantastic views and we are just a mile from the lovely village of Brossac with its shops, restaurants and facilities.

What are the unique benefits of the property?

In trying to find the perfect property, we wanted to have our own space. So many gite properties we saw were all side-by-side in a single converted building. The beauty of Chez Sarrazin is that both of our family-friendly gites are each very private and are separated from the main house. The small and intimate campsite is quietly located in a valley below the property so everyone enjoys privacy. And, we are just a 25-minute stroll to a lovely village with shops and 3 good restaurants. Lastly, the large, in-ground, full-depth, swimming pool and its adjoining garden are truly magnificent with wonderful views across rolling Charente countryside.
