Chez Sarrazin is 1.5 Miles (2 kms) due east of the village of Brossac. Heading south on the D731, 800m/yds south of the roundabout at Brossac Gare, take the first left-hand turn onto Route de Brie-Sous-Chalais (there is a shrine on the junction). Proceed for about a mile (1.2 kms) and turn right onto Chemin des Alouettes. Chez Sarrazin is straight ahead after 400 yards/m.
Bordeaux and Bergerac airports are about 70 minutes drive, La Rochelle about 1hr 50mins, Poitiers about 1hr 45mins, Toulouse about 3hrs, Tours about 2hrs 40mins. Angouleme TGV station is about 45mins, Bordeaux TGV station is about 1hr 10mins. Rental car agencies are available at all airports and at TGV stations.
Chalais SNCF station is 10mins away but there is not a taxi stand or a car rental office.
Note that taxis from cities/airports to rural locations are horribly expensive in France as the taxi drivers will normally charge both an out and back fare!
Rural France has few buses.
