Gite La Fleurette Details
Gite La Fleurette is a former farm-worker's cottage dating from 1838 and now provides excellent family holiday accommodation. It was awarded a 3* rating by the official French Tourist Board in 2017 and is regularly inspected. The gite has a total floor area of 80m2. The main room is large and benefits from exposed beams, rustic fireplace and a wood stove. The furnishings are comfortable and there is a TV with UK Freesat channels and a DVD player. Free WiFi is provided both within the gite and at the poolside. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a cooker with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine is available in another building. There is a dining table with six chairs.
There are 3 bedrooms which can sleep up to 6 people.
- Bedroom 1 (The Garden Bedroom) has patio doors to the garden. It contains a queen-size double bed.
- Bedroom 2 (The Stable Bedroom) is a rustic room with access via a few steps. It contains 2 single beds which can also be configured as a queen-sized double.
- Bedroom 3 (The Breadoven Bedroom) is also accessed via a few steps and features a sitting area in the old bread oven. It is a double bedroom.
The bathroom has a shower, sink and w.c.

Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are included in the price. Pool towels can be hired.
Gite La Fleurette has its own, private, large, fenced garden - with garden furniture and a barbecue - from which you have panoramic views over the valley to the village of Brossac and the setting sun.
Accessibility
Gite La Fleurette is on ground level (but there are two steps down to two of the bedrooms). Door apertures may not be suitable for full-width wheelchairs
Outside
Chez Sarrazin farm dates from the 17th Century and comprises 3.5 acres of gardens, lawns and wooded grounds and is surrounded by arable farming land, vineyards and fields of sunflowers throughout July and into early August.
There is a 12 x 6m shared, in-ground, full-depth swimming pool with Roman steps at one end. It is fenced and alarmed for child safety. Sunloungers, tables and parasols are provided.
Outdoor activities such as football, swings, croquet, boules, badminton, volleyball and table tennis are available in a grassy area which does not intrude on the privacy of the gites.
There is a small, 6-pitch campsite quietly located in the grounds and well away from the gites and farmhouse.
