Gite L'Ecurie Details

Gite L'Ecurie is a barn conversion. It was awarded a 3* rating by the official French Tourist Board in 2017 and is regularly inspected.  The gite has a total floor area of 130m2. The sitting room is large and benefits from a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings in early spring and late autumn. The furnishings are comfortable and there is a TV with French TV, UK Freesat channels and a DVD player. Free WiFi is provided within the gite and by the poolside. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a cooker with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  There is a separate dining room and games room with a pool/snooker table.

The three spacious bedrooms can accommodate 10 people. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (can be configured as a twin), and bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a double bed plus an adult-sized bunkbed.  The large dining room can also accommodate 2 fold-away beds on request;  a travel cot and high chair are also available on request. There are three bathrooms each with a shower, sink and toilet (en suite to bedrooms 2 and 3. The private bathroom for bedroom 1 has a sunken bath with shower).

Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are included in the price. Pool towels can be hired.

The gite has a private terrace with a beautiful pergola that provides excellent shade; there are outside tables, garden furniture and a barbecue. It enjoys stunning views over the valley to distant villages.

Outside

Chez Sarrazin farm dates from the 17th Century and comprises 3.5 acres of gardens, lawns and wooded grounds and is surrounded by arable farming land, vineyards and fields of sunflowers.

There is a 12 x 6m shared, in-ground, full-depth swimming pool with Roman steps at one end. It is fenced and alarmed for child safety. Sun loungers, tables and parasols are provided.

Outdoor activities such as football, swings, croquet, boules, badminton, volleyball and table tennis are available in a grassy area which does not intrude on the privacy of the gites.

There is a small, 6-pitch campsite quietly located in the grounds and well away from the gites and farmhouse.
